Everyone knows Maggie has a cool life list, right? Well, she does. And today on the train I started thinking about 100 Things I would like to do before I kick it. Hopefully I have some 40 or so years (hey, fifty would be nice too!) to do all these things. Here's what springs to mind right now.
- Go on an African Safari
- Get tattoo # 5 (I have a lot of ideas for this. A poppy? Stars? Everyone has stars now... I don't know. Something on my arm. I know that much).
- Rent a house with friends by the beach
- Try escargo (will I hate it? Probably. But I want to TRY it)
- Make mint julips
- Take a trip with Pinky
- Get a scanner and copy all my old photos
- Write the novel I have thought about for years
- Learn how to use an SLR camera
- Make sushi at home and have a sushi party
- Print custom stationary
- Give birth
- Throw a surprise party
- Pay my dad back the money I owe him (from his years of supporting me)
- Paint our bathroom orange
- Do something creative with old movie star photo book I have
- Be more assertive at work
- Learn to be happier when talking to strangers
- Write letters more often
- Go camping with Bob
- Stay in a fancy Caribbean resort
- Drive across the USA.
- Host a Christmas dinner
- Be patient
- Start a service where I buy gifts for people (I have no idea how to do this or what I would do exactly but I like the idea of it).
- Go to Starbucks with Angie
- See Bruce Springsteen close up (hey why not)
- See the Daily Show (for real this time, not like the time they turned Sarah and I away. Rude)
- While we are at it, see the Colbert Report
- Get a facial (just because I never have)
